The strangest thing that ever happend to me was being locked in my van at university. At the time it was scary but now its funny. Isn't it funny that at the time we think something is scary then a few years later we laugh at it?
Hi Jennifer, I cannot believe the fine detail of the cross stitch art pieces you have posted on your blog. They are incredible. I don’t have the patience or the intense focus that is necessary to make them. I think your multicoloured art pieces are also incredible. They are engaging, energetic and free. Very different from the cross stitch artwork which are also beautiful but are more controlled. I think it is fantastic that you are able to express different sides of who you are in your blog- your different artistic sensibilities as well as the writer-side of you, of course. I agree with you- it is interesting how, with time, certain things that used to scare us (or upset us or annoy us or frustrate us...) somehow lose their charge and actually seem funny. I hope you and Indie aren’t minding the heat too much. Love Pippa
I like your cross stitch artwork,Jen. Being locked in a small space is not fun at all. I did get stuck in an elevator for 45 minutes once and yes I can laugh about it now but not then. Rita
Love that memory. So many crazy things have happened to you. The way you always stay so positive (even if your frightened) is a great way to handle the stress.
