First, on the left side of your art work I see a person sitting in a meditation position.
Second, I agree with you, Jen. I think we do listen to something at all the times, even when there is no tv or radio on or anybody talking to us at all. I really believe we listen to our own thoughts while we are hearing other things around. That's why it is very important to watch what our thoughts are. I feel joyful most of the time now, but I didn't feel like this all of my life. I have learned a lot to watch what I think from people, books, experience and of course my own heart. I hope I make sense to you, Jen.
I see people doing yoga in this piece Jen. We can close our eyes but we can't close our ears. So you are right, we are always listening to something. Dad
Hi Jen I like this painting. The gentle blurring of the colours is very soothing. I see the profile of a butterfly at rest, with her wings up. I like to listen to CBC Radio 1. They discuss many different topics from art, culture, science, social topics and more. I like to be outside and listen to the birds, the wind and sometimes just my thoughts. Rita is right, we sift through all we hear and form our own way of life. It's a work in progress which keeps life interesting. Have a good day Jen! Barbara
I think they call that white noise. I someti.es think how quiet our house is until the power goes out. Then I realize how much noise there is. Art also can have 'noise'. Do you think this is a noisy one?
