Have you ever been confused in a group of people?

I had my dance show on Monday. I was early. I was really confused because the room where we usually dance was full of people. Luckily I found my group. It was bad because I needed a really bad suction. Have you ever been confused in a group of people? Here's the link to my performance. Hope you like it: https://youtu.be/Bt4YfXEBCBI

  1. That's cool seeing you dancing with others, Jen! Yes, I did experience some confusion when I was in the big crowd once when I was young, I couldn't find my older sister and I remember how scared I was.

  2. Hi Jen
I just watched your dance performance on YouTube. It was really beautiful! You were the centre of attention several times as you moved in and out and around your fellow dancers. I was do impressed by your concentration and gracefully movements. I had no idea you were feeling a little stressed, though anyone would be stressed before a performance. I thought the choreography was very good too. It was such a good idea to connect the dancers with string, just as the music connects the dancers. I really enjoyed it.
I hope you'll participate again some time. Maybe it will seem more familiar to you next time, and you'll enjoy it even more!

  4. Hey Jen, great job, good for you! I especially enjoyed all that string twisting around, looks like a blast. Your question about being confused sparked my thoughts because I am in Bangkok in Thailand which is a city of 15 million people. We were out for an all day bike ride with another local couple and then had to negotiate our way home in rush hour. It was pretty exciting! First we were in the underground for about 6 stops, then we had to walk a ways to the LRT high up for another stop or two. On top of that most of the directions were in the Thai language which is harder to understand than double Dutch. Anyway, we found our way thanks to a bit of help. It was important to stay calm and not get claustrophobic though. Take care and keep your stories flowing, U. Nick

  5. Hi Jen - great performance! it takes alot of guts and courage to dance and perform in front of a crowd so i'm proud of you for that. Not to mention the difficulty in remembering all of those dance moves - that takes skill and good memory. Its easy to get confused in groups of people - its more common than you think and happens to me all of the time. But good for you for keeping calm and continuing on with the show - congratulations and keep it up!

  7. Hi Jen. Donna and I are in PV with Olivia and her boyfriend having a nice time. I hope you are ataying warm. Really enjoyed the dance performance. I am impressed with all those dancers who showed up for classes as you did to practice then perform. Thats not an easy thing to do. I think most of us shy away from awkward situations but occassionally we we get confused too. However, when we put ourselves out there and experience new and different things, good things usually happen. Keep up the dancing!
