Have you told a fib to spare someone's feelings?

I have told a fib to spare someone's feelings. Have you told a fib to spare someone's feelings?

  1. Awe, you're so sweet Jen! I'm glad you told a lie to spare someone's feelings. The opportunity doesn't arise that often but I'd do the same.

  2. Yes. I try not to fib but rather phrase something in a positive way but it happens. And I can live with myself for it.

  3. Oh yes I did. I bet you people did that to me too, especially when I asked them if I look fat or old. We, humans are funny, Jen. Everybody wants to live long but we don't like to be old. And as you know, I have gained a lot of weight after John died and I am working on losing it 🙃

  4. I have never told a fib Jen.😂 Oh, but now I am fibbing! There you go, I have fibbed at least once! And probably I have fibbed to spare someone's feelings. Check out Aunt Pattie's message received late yesterday. Dad

  5. Hi Jen, I have fibbed too. In the old days they called it a White Lie because it was pure and not meant to be harmful in order to protect the other person's feelings. Like Rita said, I know people have fibbed to me too but it was coming from a good place of caring so we all have done it at least once and more I am sure!!!!! I really like this question. So enjoying your blogs. Love Aunt Pattixoxo
