Hey Jen. Usually I check out your blog on my phone but today I'm on the computer. Wow when I blow up the image I am overwhelmed by all the beautiful colours and all the tiny masks that I see. Who is behind all these masks. Friends or foes?
Your masks are wonderfully expressive! I can see laughing masks, shouting masks, goofy masks and scary masks! I agree, we sometimes wear mental masks too.
Wow Jen, that is such a deep statement. Masks have different meanings in different situations. But I never thought of a mental mask. That's when you're pretending to be someone you're not or hiding your two self for some reason. Love the painting! Dad
Jen, I like the painting and the expression of wearing mask too. Mentally I wore a mask right after John died to build my own strength for a while but now I'm okay being me again. Sometime we wear a mask to protect myself or others as well. See you tomorrow, Jen!
