What do your parents know about that your friends don't?

My parents know how to take care of me, although my dad goes too fast when getting me up and putting me to bed. My dad knows how to do stretches for me. It hurts but I know I need them because if they aren't done for awhile I get sore. My mom knows how to love me. My parents know everything about me. What do your parents know about that your friends don't?

  1. My parents are not around anymore but they did know about me more than I wanted to admit like I am stubborn and can be too sensitive for criticism. I am working on them though, Jen. I think parents always ready to help their children to have a better lives no matter how old their children are.

  2. I've learned over the years that my parents dont need to know everything anymore and because I live away from them that makes it easier. Its not that its anything bsd, they just grew up in a different time and wouldnt appreciate it. I suspect the same with our daughter.

  3. I am sorry that I go so fast Jen.  I think I got that from my mother because she was always in a hurry.  She was always trying to save time and I am too.  Because God only gave us so much time on this beautiful earth.  It's not just you that I go fast with.  I drive fast and I walk fast and I work fast.  Then I can do other things.  Look at it this way Jen, you get to go on your computer faster with me.  Dad

  4. I had braces as a young kid about 13 years old. You know, the so called train tracks to fix young kids' teeth. I hated them so much that i ended up taking them off myself with a pair of pliers. for a long time only my parents knew this. they were very mad, as braces are very expensive! My friends found out only recently, when my dad shared this story at my wedding. It was funny to hear that story again. its easy to laugh now about it.
