I don't remember eating at all but I love to taste things. My current favorite thing to taste is Tiger Butter. It is delicious. What kind of deserts do you like to have?
This is an ironic thing about me, I don't care to eat dessert or sweet stuff that much but I love baking cake, muffins, cookies or I even had invented something sweets for dessert but yet I don't care to eat them! And also finding it very cool when people enjoying eating my baking goods. My favorite food is beef rendang, no it is a dessert, it is an Indonesian beef tender curry which is cooked in spicy coconut milk with many different kind of spices and herbs. The meat is cooked in slow heat and it takes a long time to cook, sometime take up two or three hours to make it but it is so worth it to spend that many hours in the kitchen when you see the result. When I was growing up in Sumatra, Indonesia we only had this dish for a special occasion like as at a wedding party or any religion celebration. It is so delicious!
Hi Jen I'm so sorry you can't eat but glad you get to taste some things. Most of the rest of us have trouble by eating too much. We kind of have to be careful not to. I try not to eat sweets. I find it hard, but not as hard as what you have to go through, not being able to eat. I do love veggies so that's how I make up for the desserts I pass up. I feel bad for you Jen, we take so much for granted, and you struggle with many things. You're a very brave strong girl and are a role model for me. Barbara
If it has chocolate in it, I'll like it. Although not a big desert fan, I will eat it if put in front of me. Rice pudding is also a favourite as are berries. I am glad that you can taste and enjoy the flavours. After all, its the taste we all seek out.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite desert is the Mud Pie at the Keg. It's a blend of chocolate and coffee ice cream flavour coated with chocolate sauce and caramel sauce.
ReplyDeleteI just tried making macarons. They are not a total fail, but maybe I'll only feed them to family. If it has chocolate or raspberry I'm in! Mari Anne
