This sign would get my attention! It's exciting and powrrful. The colours have a positive effict. This could be for an all natural energy drink. Signage and marketing in general, is a field that interests me. We are all controlled, to varying degrees, by marketing. Good marketing has us buying things and doing things that we think are entirely our own idea. Most of us probably think we can't be swayed by marketing, but I think we all are. Humans have such a need to conform. That's not always so bad, the opposite would be chaos and anarchy. Barbara
Very good comments Barbara. Personally I don't like neon signs. I long for the days when signs were just plain. Everyone competed on a level playing field and there wasn't a competition to create the biggest and brightest sign. You have heard of sound pollution Jen. Well there is also light pollution. Some people who live in big cities never experience true darkness. As a result they don't sleep well and are tired during the day. Smart phones and computers are also a source of light pollution. Consequently, this isn't my favourite painting. Dad
