What I did today #6
I have a electric bed that turns me. My mom leveled the bed at 8:20 this mourning and woke up my computer and got my bluetooth speaker going. I woke up shortly after that. When I woke up I looked around my blue bedroom. I looked up at the ceiling and read the Christen posters on it. All my dolls are on the left side of my bed. I have a ballerina doll that I call Jennifer because I have always wanted to dance. I have another doll that I have named Faith. I have a nun doll that I named Mary. I have a bear that I call Hope. Before she turned me on my side to start physio she turns my story on my computer and bring the speaker over to my bed so I can hear it. When i'm on my side my mom gives me a mouth suction and gives me 9 THC drops in my mouth because my back has been hurting. After she gives me the drops she writes it down in the nurses notes and then she starts physio. I need physio because it loosens the secretions in my lungs. My mom does physio with one hand reads with the other. We go through a lot of books. After physio my mom goes to exercise and Alieshia my caregiver gets me up and takes me to the bathroom. After I get up I play on the computer for a hour and then we drive to the hearing clinic. I thought the hearing clinic person was going to check my hearing but I ended up trying out a new hearing aid. I really liked it. It doesn't fall out like the other ones I have. What did you do today?

I am having a quiet simple day today, Jen. Just sleeping most of the day for my tonight shift and bought some yummy roast chicken for supper and being lazy on the couch while watching mindless tv program. Does it sound fun to you? I love having these kind of days!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got a hearing aid that you like.
ReplyDeleteIt must be very nice to have your mom read to you, Jen. I should think ut would be very soothing and relaxing.
Today one of our sons and our oldest grandson came for a short visit. They're just staying 2 nights. I made a barbeque dinner and we visited. It was great.

Pretty complicated process if you ask me! Sounds very detailed and efficient too! When I get up its all about me, myself and I. At my age I usually get up to pee several times during the night. Sometimes I can't get back to sleep so I read quietly until my eyes get heavy. When I get up to stay up, usually pretty early I need to go to the bathroom soon too, then floss, brush my teeth, gargle and have a shave and a shower. I usually try and hurry it up cause I have lots to do. Monday's and Thursday's I see my weight trainer at 8 am and I am usually up in good time on the other days too. If I had such great care givers as you do I would probably lay around a bit more and soak up all the attention. Maybe you could talk to Waan about this? Best, U. Nick from Juneau, Alaska
ReplyDeleteHi Jen. Yesterday I played golf again with Owen. I didn't play very well. When I got home I had dinner. Then I stretched, massaged and read to you. We are reading a book about Mary mother of Jesus. It's pretty interesting. Then I went to bed. Dad
ReplyDeleteHey Jen. yesterday i woke up and took Murphy outstide for a quick walk around 530 am. Then i came back inside and took a shower and got dressed for work. On the way i drive Murphy to her daycare - we leave her at daycare a few times a week when Samantha can't take her for the day. I get to work and i read about 25 emails and look at the financial news for the day. I speak to clients on the phone, script emails to various people, and research investments throughout the day. I usually leave around 3pm but yesterday i left at 2 because i needed to get a haircut. Then i played tennis with my friend Eric - he beat me because he plays a lot more than i do, but because i have good racket skills from playing a lot of squash, i am able to give him a good game. Then I got home and made the best spaghetti and meatballs for dinner which Sam enjoyed. That's a typical day in my life. not as eventful as yours!
