rainbow roses

Some people are allergic to flowers and fleshly mowed grass.

  1. This is a lovely bouquet of roses. I do love flowers and I'm glad I'm not allergic to them. It must be hard for allergy sufferers to look forward to summer, only to find that summer flower allergies cause breathing difficulties. Our oldest son has these allergies. He's told me that he read that local wild flower honey can boost your immune system so you're not as adversely affected by flower allergies. I buy it for him at Planet Bee in Vernon.
I hope you're enjoying the summer Jen. It's a wonderful time to be outside and see our part of the planet at it's best.

  2. I love this delicate picture of your roses, Jen. I like many different kind of flowers but there was a time when my skin turned red and blemish from touching some flower when I was young but I don't remember what it was.

  3. You have some allergies Jen but I think they are from pollen in the air right?  They must come from mum's side of the family because I don't have any allergies that I'm aware of.  And of course I love the smell of freshly mowed grass!  I think your painting is very delicate.  I like the way the vase is impressionistic while the flowers are realistic.  Dad
