Yes Jen, the solar system is an amazing place. It's so unimaginably large and the distances are so unimaginably great. I think your painting has captured the planets and our place in them. Dad
Wow...this is amazing, Jen. You capture a little part of the mass of God's power at this time of Jesus' birthday. This morning, when I was at the church I couldn't stop crying because of missing John so much while singing the Christmas songs as John was the child out of the two of us! Now, with your art work...it is impossible for me not to feel the love of God around me. Keep up the beautiful work, Jen!
I remember the phrase our teacher taught us, in grade two I think, so we'd remember the order of the planets from the sun. I wonder if teachers are still using this to help children memorize their order. (Clearly, it worked for me.) It goes; 'Men very early made jars stand up nearly perpendicular'. The first letter of each word represents a planet. Barbara
