What would you do if you became prime minister of Canada?

If I became prime minister of Canada, I would make sure no one was poor and everyone had a place to live. What would you do if you became prime minister of Canada?

  1. I'd cut back on programs for special interest groups and fully fund free prescriptions and medical care. As much as I love the arts, I'd pull money from that to put into health care. It's too easy to get government grants to study gnats (sp?) when people are not receiving adequate health care and medical devices essential to them. Perhaps a simplistic answer but I'd make it happen.

  2. I'd get our fiscal house in order so that we could afford to provide everyone with free prescriptions and medical care and make sure no one was poor or homeless in the long run.

  3. Wow Jen! What a difficult question! We all want very similar things, ways to improve society and help the underprivileged. When we do those things I hope that it will also help with discrimination.

  4. Yes, free prescriptions and medical care for all Canadians will be my two priorities plus open the Riverside mental hospital in full used again , Jen. Many mentally disabled people are ended up in prison for using illegal drugs because they needed helps not because they were criminals.

  5. The first thing I would do is hire you as my special advisor.
