story part 3

In the little town of Riverdell by the sea, there was a majestic and beautiful house, in which Sofia and Charlie lived with their parents. The house was white with blue shutters, a beautiful garden out back was filled with all kinds of flowers. On land you could feel the sea spray when it was windy and see the white caps as the wind blew through the sea. Sofia and Charlie's parents moved to the house by the sea 2 years ago. Sofia didn't want to leave her friends. Her brother didn't talk much, so he had no friends. Sofia talked a lot and had lots of friends.

Sofia was impulsive and wild while her brother, Charlie was the opposite, he was obedient and compassionate. Charlie was the angel of the family while Sofia did her own thing. Sofia's and Charlie's hair were both brown. They had opposite haircuts, Sofia's was a pixie cut, Charlie had long curly hair that fell to his shoulders. Their mom was kind and loving. Their dad was tough and hardworking.

After Sofia, Charlie and her parents were having dinner, Sofia asked, "can I get a Walkman for my birthday?"

"Yes, you may," said their mom, "as long as you do your homework before listening to it."

Just before Charlie went to bed, he asked through a yawn, "can I have roller skates for my birthday."

"You're too young said their father, "goodnight.

Charlie's room had midnight blue wallpaper with glow in the dark stars above his bed. It gave an Azure light. He had white stars on his coverlet. Looking down at his sleeping face, you can tell that he looked younger and worry free. The coverlet didn't quite cover his pajamas which had blue stars on them. On the desk in the corner of the room there a model of the solar system that he was building. It had four little drawers in it. The desk was dark blue with white stars on it. It was a little boy's room.

Their dad went downstairs to join the rest of the family. After Sofia finished reading a chapter of her book, she went up to bed. Her book was about a unicorn bestowing a gift on a fairy.

"I'll be up in a minute," called their mom.

On the way to Sofia's room, their mom looked in on Charlie. He was fast asleep.

Sofia's room had white wallpaper with pink unicorns on it. She had glow in the dark stars above her bed also. Sofia had a pink shelf above her with a stuffed unicorn and fairy on it. The coverlet on her bed had a big white unicorn on it. Sofia was sitting up in bed reading when her mom came in.

"Not too late, okay sweetie," said their mom.

"Ok, mom," said Sofia.

Sofia's pajamas were white with a big, pink unicorn on them. On the desk in the corner was a jigsaw puzzle of a unicorn.

Sofia sighed and put down her book and reached over and turned out the light she been reading by. She snuggled under her coverlet and was soon asleep.
