How would you feel if, for one day, you were the parent and your mom and dad were the kids?

I remember when I was little, my sisters I listened to our mom read the Bernstein Bears books. There was one book or episode of the Bernstein Bears that the parents pretend to be kids.  After my sisters and I watched that episode, we pretended that we were the parents. It was fun. Now that I'm older, I realize it will be hard but I would like the experience. How would you feel if, for one day, you were the parent and your mom and dad were the kids?

  1. This is a very interesting question, Jen. Both of parents died many years ago, so it is very hard for me think of them as my children. Because I never had the pleasure to be a parent, so I can't imagine how to be a parent at all. The closest experience to be a parent was when I had a dog and I was a terrible pet owner! I spoiled her royally.

  2. That's easy Jen!  Every day i feel like the kid and you feel like my parent.  That's because I'm so dopey!

  3. I think it would feel pretty good! Finally I could ask my kids to stop watching movies and do all the cooking and cleaning 😊

  4. Kids might act a little differently if they had to be us for even a day. Same with employees having to be the boss.
Read the book 'Love You Forever'. It's about a Mom who looks after her child all through life until she is too old and frail. Then he looks after her. That's how it is with my Mom and I right now.
