A great question, Jen. I used to get more excited on John's birthday than mine. Because he would've got so excited about it by calling his brother and always got a call from his mother and then he would've been smiling all day long. Even when I didn't get him anything special. In the meantime on my birthday I often forgetting it 🤣. Growing up in Indonesia we didn't celebrate birthdays, at least family didn't.
I get more excited on my own birthday, Jen. But I keep it a secret because I think it's embarrassing. I don't get invited to that many birthday parties either. I don't think I'd ever have a birthday party for myself, but I know some people who do!
A great question. I like other people's birthdays more than mine. Though I'm not the slightest bit worried about getting older. I'm enjoying every year. I'll be 70 this summer, and loving every minute!

I am retired. I used to live in Washington State, about an hour or so from Surrey. Since 2008 I have lived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. That's where I met your Dad at a local barbershop. He was in the chair next to me, and was quietly laughing at my terrible Spanish :)
