Hi Jen! I don't know origami, the art of folding paper, so I can use a blank paper for writing, Jen. I love to write down my thoughts especially when I feel anxious sad, confused or happy. My best advice for myself comes from calming myself down by writing it down as if I would've written it to my best friend. By doing that, I can see my problem looks so much smaller and less dramatic! Or we can use a blank piece of paper as a canvas for drawing. I often see a blank piece of paper as a new beginning...something pure and innocent. Just like looking at a new born puppy! Something so sweet and innocent!
I would love to be able to paint a water colour of our back garden. But I know from the art classes that I took as a teenager that I am unable to translate what I see onto the paper. There was a beautiful sunrise this morning! I would also love to be able to capture that.
Hi Jen, I would like to lightly brush some water colours on it, my favorite colours, feeling at the moment whether there be wavy lines, straight lines, dots or circles, x’s or o’s…. Who knows…. Then, after it has dried, I would like to wrap it around a special gift for someone, My love on the outside and inside for that person. Hmmm, next question, what might that special gift be? Love Cousin Tess

ReplyDeleteMine is the same as your Dad's though I would bring it over and we would go outside and see how far it would go.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should have a contest and fly ours against your Dad's.
