I love Jellybean!!! I had a nickname Patti Petunia which I never could figure out why but it is a flower so I suppose it was a compliment!!! It seems fewer people now have nick names - fun topicxoxox. AP
I believe because I was a 10 lb baby at birth Dad called me Fatty. Was that his languaging for the sweet cherubic being that I was?… I have to say it was not well received by me…However, his other nickname for me was Little One.That resonated tenderly and lovingly in my heart. Mum called us 4 daughters all Darling, which served multiple purposes for her. As with Little One, it resonated both tenderly and lovingly in my Heart. ❤️💖❤️💖❤️
I think jellybelly is an excellent nickname! I know a little girl whose first name is Lily and her middle name is Dragonini which is her grandfather’s last name. Everyone calls her Lily the Dragon which I think is fantastic. Such a great nickname.
Do you prefer being called your nickname: Jen? Do you mind being called your full name: Jennifer? Pippa
I love that nickname. My dad and brother always called me AM, they still do. I know I am in trouble when my dad uses my whole name. When I was in high school my friends shortened my name to Anna and it stuck. My mom is not a fan, let's be honest she would always remind them what my full name is. Totally embarrassing! lol When I started playing slow pitch I was given the name cupcake. I have no idea why, I think it is because I am a little squishy and sweet but who knows. But it has stuck. Nicknames are fun and most of the time have a great story behind them.
Hey Jellybean!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple. Most often called OB just because. Then after Starwars came out, they started calling me OB-wan after Obi-wan Kenobi the character.
And at my motorcycle club, they call me Bam Bam because my bike is called Pebbles.
I like Jellybean! My nickname at the golf club is the Chinchilla. It’s a rodent from Latin America. Pretty cute actually!
