Hi Jen, I like this one very much Jen. I think of the flags that represent all the countries around the world. Your flag’s flashes of colours show me all the uniqueness of individuals, of people, and the centre “x” shows me how together all the individuals make one community. I don’t know if I have expressed my experience of your painting clearly… another way to say my thoughts, is all the members of a family are unique individuals; the “x” in your painting expresses the togetherness of the individuals make up one big family. I can imagine your flag rippling in the wind ! Beautiful! Thanks Jen! Love Cousin Tess
I like cousin Tess's interpretation. The flags all intersect to symbolize one people. I think there is too much focus on nationalism as opposed to world people. We are all one species. If we followed your example Jen, there would be less wars. Dad
