I don¨t remember anytime when we did make our holiday presents for each other, but I do remember a few years a go when I surprised my mom and dad with a gift. The gift was some cards and some money I had made selling some of the cards I had made. I was in high school at the time. It was a good surprise. I even had my picture on the front page of a newspaper.
I remember that too Jen. We donated the money to a local charity. And I still have the local paper with your picture on it. I picked up lots of extra copies and handed them it to people. No one could believe that you were on the front page of the newspaper. You were famous! Dad
ReplyDeleteWow...sure it was a big surprise, Jen. I don't think I ever surprised my parents with anything at all. That's why it is very important to do something special to our loved ones whenever you have a chance because they are gone, they are gone. I still miss my parents dearly,especially when I did something nice or need their advice. Good for you, Jen to be able to help others with your art works!
