Part 1

He listened to her but he didn't believe her because she had lied all her life. First she lied about her name. Her name wasn't Mary. Her name was Elizabeth. Second she lied about her job. She didn't work in the fashion industry. She didn't work at all. Third she lied about breaking a wine glass. She didn't want to get in trouble. Have you ever lied about something?

To be continued

  1. Of course I have, Jen. I remember when I told my parents that I needed a new pair of shoes because the one that I had were too small for me, which was a lie. So, my mom bought me a new pair of shoes, they were exactly the same kind of shoes but one size bigger. At the end I still had the same ugly shoes except now I didn't feel comfortable walking in them. I have learned early in life, it is better of telling the truth than lying about something and then regretting it later.

  2. Wow Jen, I can't wait to read the next chapter!
...is he going to recruit Elizabeth (Mary) to work for him? Espionage is a dangerous game, but in the interest of national security, maybe he could put her tale-telling tendency to good use...
    The plot thickens!
