rainbow kite

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest heights. Flying kites are fun especially for those who don't have much.

  1. Hi Jen
    A delightful kite indeed!
I remember being taught how to fly a kite. As a child, it was an extraordinary feeling. Kind of like controlling something powerful. Exhilarating! I always seemed to end up in a tree, or crashing on the grass though. I don't see many kids flying kites today. I did fly kites with our grandchildren. It never loses it's magic.

  2. I love to fly kites Jen.  Maybe we should do it together.  We could tie it to your wheel chair and you could run around with it.  It's free and it's fun!  I want a more with a long tail on it.  What would you like your kite to look like?  Dad

  3. One of Donna's most favourite things to do with Ryan was to fly a kite. We still do every summer and we always feel closer to Ryan. I love your kite and I was able to take it for a flight with him this morning in my mind. I dont think it matters what you have, most of the time the simple things give us the most pleasure.

  4. I used to play kite with my brother and friends in Indonesia. I also had the chance to make the kites and the special kind of thread to fly the kite with. My brother had shown me how to grind the chipped glasses into glass powder, which I find it absolutely crazy now! Yes, I had fun playing it, Jen. Your kite looks fun too!
