What do you wish your parents wouldn't do?

I wish my dad wouldn't go so fast in everything he does with me. I used to like when he went fast but then my back started hurting. I have told him on countless occasions that I wish that he would've go so fast but does he listen? No. I can't think of anything that my mom does that I wish she wouldn't do. What do you wish your parents wouldn't do?

  1. Can you believe it, Jen I'm number 9 of 10 children? Naturally, my parents were quite old to spend a lot of time with me when I was growing up. Yes, I do wish I did a lot of things with parents when they were around. The good things about growing up with many older siblings, they taught me a lot of things like reading, cooking, riding bike, fishing, climbing trees, and doing many other things that I wasn't suppose to! My dad was only 61 years old when he passed which is quite young and of course I wish I had spent more time with them. I didn't realized how tough it was for them to raise that many children until I found myself having a hard time just to keep myself survive living on my own.

  2. Hi Jen
My dad left us when I was 2 or 3. So I don't remember him at all, so I didn't miss him. But I missed not having a dad. My mom was the best, a hard worker. She made a good home for us. It wasn't easy for a single mom, especially in the 50's. I was a very happy kid but I always felt I missed out on having a dad. Dads are special, moms are special. Each brings a particular strength and blessing to a family.

  3. I am so fortunate. I am 60 years old (almost) and both of my parents are still alive. We will meet them for dinner tonight and have a great time. I wish they wouldnt get any older and sometimes wish that they would stop telling me what to do. But then I laugh and realize thats impossible. They will ALWAYS be my parents!
