What would be the hardest thing you had to give away?

I don't remember any difficult thing I had to give away but if I had to choose it would be my doll Emily. I used to love that doll. I would hold her all the time. I didn't know whatever happened to her. What would be the hardest thing you had to give away?

  1. I only had to let go a few things that I love but the hardest part of experiencing losing something had to be losing loved ones, Jen. Losing my parents were very hard because I couldn't see them anymore, they are gone for good. For the material possession was letting go of a greenhouse. When I was living on the island I had a nice greenhouse where I grew some exotic vegetables like some hot chilies, white eggplants, and some herbs. I hope someday I will have another greenhouse again!

  2. When I was 21 my parents gave me a signet ring. It was my father's who got it from his parents for his 21st. They had it remade for me with my initials on it. I was planning on giving it to Ryan in the same fashion but that didnt happen. It is probably my most cherished possession.

  3. I have my dog Lassie from when I was a little boy. I tried to give it to my daughters but they didn't want it. I'm hoping it to give it my grandchildren.  The hardest thing for me to give away would be one of my daughters.  Dad

  4. Hi Jen
    I hope you're having a good day!
I can't remember having to part with anything material that was important to me.
It was so hard to lose my dear mother. I respected her and admired the way she lived her life.
Of course, we've had to say goodbye to several pets we loved very very much over the years that we've been married. It's always terribly hard for the whole family.
