A phoenix is a mythical bird like creature. At the end of the bird's life it burns into a flame and then is reborn from the ashes. A phoenix lifespan is 500 years or more.

Isn't there a Phoenix in Narnia Jen? I can't remember what happens but I remember it is pretty amazing. I think he rescues the children or protects them or something. Dad
