I have taught things to many adults. Mostly I have taught people how to take care of me. I have taught people to understand my speech. What have you taught people about?
Jen, you are remarkable! You teach us bloggers all sorts of things about life as we participate in your blog. I've taught some friends to slow down and appreciate nature, my husband too. Now we share a love of the critters we see around us. I think he takes note of the beauty in the countryside too.
Wow Jen, I have never thought of this question before. I don't have children or ever raised anyone so, I don't think I ever taught anyone with anything particular. By being alive and have lived for more than fifty years I hope people can learn something from me but have no idea what it is though. Maybe by being happy to be who you are, whoever you are? Because that's the best of me, I just like being alive, with everything in it the ups and downs. I will ask my friends what they have learned from me when I see them...thanks for make me think of this important question, Jen!
Another thoughtful question from my dear neice! Actually, I sent you quite a long note from a previous query while Waan and I were walking the El Camino Trail in Portugal and Spain a week ago. Unfortunately it got lost in the cloud as the only transmission I have is from my BlackBerry and the Ipad didn't work. Anyway, c'est La vie c'est La Gare (look it up!). On the teaching side you must be a patient teacher and while I could claim that I have taught lots of others the only teaching comparable to your example is my two sons Ben and Eddie. Great question Jen! Everyone is always learning and teaching things to other people. I have learned so much from you! You have taught me patience and compassion, although probably you have more work to do on the former. I guess I have taught a few things to other people but I am not sure what. I think I taught people how to fish when I was a fishing guide. Dad
Good question Jen! One thing i know is you have taught me how to play backgammon. You are still the master at Backgammon, not sure if anyone can actually beat you.
I taught Samantha how to play chess. Either i'm an excellent teacher, or she is an incredible learner - because now she always wins when we play!
