True Jen, I like your egg painting. It reminds me that God said everything will reproduce after it's own kind. I think your painting also looks like salmon roe in a stream. We have a creek in the area with a separate fish spawning stream next to it. They built rock ledges in the stream about 40 feet apart going upstream. This way the fish swimming up the stream can jump up one level at a time, then wait in a nice pool. They have to gather their strength before they jump up the next level. They continue this way until they reach their spawning bed and lay their eggs. Of course everyone knows this story but it's pretty awesome how they do this, travelling long distances to get there. We have baby squirrels in our bird garden again. I saw them playing today. They were chasing each other around and around their house. My husband built the house for them several years ago, following a guide on the internet. They seem to use it each year. We enjoy the red squirrels in our garden. Red squirrels are territorial so they all have to go find their own new home. Each one requires about a 100 to 150 foot radius so you only end up with one or two on the property. Barbara.
Wow, Barbara! I'm so jealous of your living environment! Yes, Jen female humans and animal do have eggs to produce. I was longing to be a mother when I was younger but now I have a better understanding why I didn't end up being a mother and am very okay about it too. By the way, your art work is very cool too, Jen!
Luckily chickens lay eggs too Jen because I like to eat them! Pretty much every animal originates from an egg somehow I think. I feel sorry for the unborn animals inside the egress though. Dad
