Great light bulb Jen. I can even see the filaments inside it. Your comment made me smile. I've had a light bulb moment once in a while. Usually when I encounter a problem in my garden or on a painting and I get a 'bright idea' that will solve it. I had that happen yesterday when I was contemplating mt next painting. I desided to use a technique of brilliantly coloured under painting, usually hot pink, lime green, orange etc. These colours are always on the opposite side of the colour wheel from the actual colours in the subject. Then you do your actual painting right over top of the under painting, covering it completely. It gives the painting luminosity and life. I've never tried this but have seen it done on the internet. I am determined to try new things in art as often as I can. I like your blog because you explore new art subjects and new topics of conversation. Have a good day Jen. Barbara
I like your light bulb, Jen! Thank you for praying for my husband and I, everybody. Yes, it has very difficult week for us as my husband had a massive heart attack and a brain injury as well. He had a big fall on his face on the pavement while walking when the heart attack occurred. He is out off coma and now recovering very well. I take life one day at the time and this situation only makes life becomes sweeter as I become more aware how precious life is. I'm coping with this very well, thank you to all my co-workers, Jackie, Aleshia, Jenny, Anna, and also of course you too, Jen! And not to forget your parents also. Thank you for all the prayers and thinking of me and my husband's speedy recovery, everyone. I have been visiting my husband at the Royal Columbian Hospital everyday for the last 9 days and don't have my computer with me, so forgive me for not being able to read your blog everyday, Jen.
As things get a little manageable now, I probably can check on your blog once every couple of days or so. Please, keep up the good work, Jen. And...before we know it, I will be at your place again! Again, thank you everybody for thinking of me and my husband and also for all the prayers!
Rita, I'm glad to hear that your husband is out of the coma. I'm praying for a full recovery. Please take care of yourself too. It must be very stressful for you. Barbara
Awesome light bulb Jen! I've never seen one like that before. Right now it is brightening my computer screen. Maybe it will also go on inside my brain? Dad
Rita. I am so sorry for your problems with your husband. What a terrible thing to be going through. I pray for his health and for your strength. I am not sure if you know but my business is doing home modifications for those with disabilities. If I can be of any help as he recovers and looks to coming home, please do not hesitate to reach out. Jenn, I love your bulb. Its so cool!
