It is scraggly and green, the island is mostly rock. The best part is the rocky shoreline, simply stunning and wild. Don't forget Newfoundland also includes Labradour where I also spent lots of time living in little communities like Hopedale and Macovik when I was not in Goose Bay. The people there were so nice! Their kids were all at Ontario universities, go figure. I fought forest fires in Newfoundland too, lots of smoke and excitement! There is quite a lot of stagnant water and not a lot of high mountains like in BC. All in all a great place to visit, U. Nick
Nick that is very interesting. I had assumed that you flew in Northern BC for some reason. I would love to see eastern Canada at some point. Sounds beautiful!
