This really looks like peacock feathers! The way you've feathered the edges is brilliant. Perhaps they could be used to create a beautiful and dramatic ballet costume for a major ballet. The Russian ballets sometimes have very dramatic costumes I think. The whole colourful production of a ballet adds so much excitement to the story. I can see it now! I remember watching world figure skating competitions quite a few years ago. I always wanted to watch in order to see what dramatic music pieces the Russian skaters would choose and what costumes they would wear. They always broke new gtound in costume design. Oh yes, I like your soft looking peacock feathers, Jen. When I was living in Victoria I often went for a walk to the Beacon Hill Parks to see the peacocks. They were just walking around minding their business and let people taking pictures of them like there is nothing happens and people would walk pretty close them as well! I always find them fascinating and peculiar. I always wonder why the male peacocks are so much better looking than female encounters?

ReplyDeleteThe female peahens need to blend in to hide their chicks. The males show off their colours. The males are beautiful but they have a pretty ugly call.
