What did you think of this morning?

The first thing I thought about this morning was how I missed my parents hugs and kisses. I miss when dad massages me and his stretches even though they hurt. I miss mom's hugs. What did you think of this morning?

  1. Like you, Jen I also miss my loved one when wake up from my sleep. As you can imagine, I miss John very much and am hoping the pain will get lighter the days go by. I also think about many beautiful things when I get up from my sleep like what to eat, do and enjoy. Listening to a wonderful music or songs always be part of my day while I'm cooking, cleaning or even while doing laundry! Beauty is around us at all times, the question is which one that we are going to enjoy for today? As this morning before I leave your place Indy gave me a wonderful lovely gesture...that's enough to brighten my day!

  2. I must admit, my first thought is 'coffee'! Then I go over things I want to accomplish and appointments I might have. I love mornings ans I enjoy a quiet time before my husband wakes up. It's a nice part of my day.

  3. Waking up is my favorite time of the day Jen. I think we all think of our loved ones at that time. I think of you and Sally and Lucy and Mum. I am glad you miss us Jen because we miss you! Sometimes it's when something isn't there that you appreciate it the most. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a spouse Rita. It must be so difficult to get through each day. Thinking about the beauty all around us is a great way to start the day! Geoff

  5. Saturday morning I woke up and thought about the fact I didnt have to go to work and got to work with a big excavator on making a new driveway at our house. I also reflected on the wonderful birthday party we had for my Mom at my brother's house one Friday night. She turned 88 years old. Amazing!
