I saw a watermelon slice made from half a paper plate, painted red and green. My neighbour teaches grade 1 and she does a lot of paper plate crafts. The silliest one I've made is a baby shower gift ribbon hat. When a mom-to-be is given baby gifts, the ribbons from the gifts are all glued onto a paper plate for a bonnet. Barbara
Oh I don't have silly story with paper plate,Jen. Well unless if putting too much food on it and then it fell out of my hand is silly then I had a silly experience with paper plate!
The kids used to make paper planes with a sheet of paper and stand on the balcony at Fairweather and throw them down!! I think it would be harder to make one with a paper plate but we did use paper plates for frisbees. AP
Hi Jen I'm emailing a great cookie recipe tonight. I've always wanted to find a cookie recipe that could use up extra granola. Today I found one and then I modified it a bit by adding extra peanuts and some ground almonds. I had some of our family here for a jam-packed hockey tournament weekend and the cookies were a big hit! I thought you might like to bake them. You can always freeze cookies and just take a few out at a time for your mom and dad or your sisters or company. Barbara
