What sport would you make up?

I like to read so I would make a sport that you could kick a ball and read at the same time. What sport would you make up?

  1. Good question Jen, but difficult to answer. I like to watch football, rythmic gymnastics, downhill skiing, snowboarding, synchronised swimming and tennis, (maybe a few more). But to invent a new sport...that's difficult. Maybe rhythmic figure skating with those sticks that have the long streaming ribbons on the tip!

  2. I can't think anything thag isn't already already there, Jen. I used to watch hockey games on TV when John was around but I hardly ever watch television now. I think the most exciting game to watch is badminton as it is a fast game and the second one is hockey for me. But for playing the sport, I like running in the past but walking is my current sport, or exercise rather.

  3. good question Jen. While i can't think of a new game to invent, i can tell you about a game that my friends invented in university. We called it "Solleyball"; So for "soccer" and lleyball for "volleyball". it was a mix between soccer and volley ball. Played on a small grass field with a net about 3 feet high. And rather than using our hands like in Volleyball, we were only allowed to keep the ball up with our feet - thus the idea for the cross between Soccer and volleyball. it was awesome.

  4. Wow tough question. People are inventing sports all the time. Frisbee golf is gaining popularity and Pickleball has exploded onto the seen recently. If we are going to be really crazy I would invent a sport that would let me run and tackle but I could stop and start whenever I wanted to. Like a real life rugby game. That will come when we have better virtual reality and we can enter alternate situations at the flip of a switch. Right now I am too old and dont have enough time to play a real game.

  5. Yeah! I just loaded Painter Classic on your new tablet, Jen, so you can start doing artwork again! Jen has a Microsoft Surface tablet since her old laptop computer screen failed. Geoff
