sparkly shapes

When you learn to draw, you first learn to draw shapes.

  1. Well Jen! I see very happy dancers forming a circle! They're all twirling and dancing, connected by the music. The colours and patterns you've used are so joyous.

  2. I agree with you, Barbara! They are sparkly as you said,Jen. I have been planning to start to do some drawing as I have bought some acrylic paint and some brushes but am still too afraid to actually do it. Well, I guess I can start it by drawing some shapes!

  3. I'm back! Google has not been telling me that you have been writing. I thought maybe you were taking a break. Happy New Year! I cant draw worth a darn but then I never liked art classes. I prefer to make things or tinker with things. I have built a lot of furniture which is a form of art but not drawing.

  4. I don't know where your talent comes from Jen, because neither your mom nor I are artistic. Both your sisters are pretty good drawers as well. What I see in your drawing is a kite tail, that string that hangs on the end of kites that flitters back and forth. What were you thinking when you made that drawing? Is Barbara right or am I? Or is there some other explanation? you should give you a reader some insight to your thinking. Welcome back Owen!
