story part 5

Charlie ran outside and put on his new roller skates. Their dad tried and failed to teach him how to use them. When their dad put them after Charlie had a turn, he looked pretty funny. Their dad kept falling down on the pavement and hurting himself. He couldn't balance on them.

Two years later Charlie got a skateboard for his 12th birthday. He was so glad to finially get a skateboard. Sofia loved to watch him skate on his rollerskates or play on his skateboard.

"Don't fall down and hurt yourself," Sofia warned.

"Oh, sister you're such a worry wart," said Charlie.

"Of course I am, you're my brother," said Sofia.

  1. Glad to read another installment Jen! I'm always checking out your blog to see what happens next. It's interesting how caring Sofia is, though she and Charlie are complete opposites. That's true in most families I think.

  2. I like the characters in your story, Jen. I'm waiting for Sofia to do something silly and fun as I did a lot when I was younger.

  3. The dad reminds me of me Jen! Is he a bit of a goof like I am? God help Sofia and Charlie if he is. The story is coming along nicely Jen. I am looking forward to the next installment! Dad

  4. Having so many brothers they always got in trouble but girls can be mischievous too!!! Sophia seems like a very caring sister and Charlie so free spirited so I am very curious where this is going!!! Looking forward to the next chapter.
