If you design your own playground, what kinds of things would you want to play on?
First of all, I would design a wheelchair accessible playground so I can go on it. There would be a merry go round and a swing set.If you design your own playground, what kinds of things would you want to play on?
That's a great idea Jen. So many more people would enjoy a play ground if some of it could accomodate wheel chairs. Play grounds are happy places. I loved the monkey bars as a child, so that's what I would have. Barbara
The new playgrounds are really nice but they are all very much similar to each other. If I had an unlimited budget I would like to make something fanciful that would make kids eyes light up. More of an adventure playground.
Playgrounds are so important for kids to have access to for the physical aspect as well as the social aspect. I agree with your mum though that they are all the same. There is a new playground proposed in False Creek. You should check it out. It looks like it will be a theme park right in the middle of the city. AP
I have been thinking all day, what would a great playground be? Needs pups and dogs to pat and watch them play play play,🦮🐶🐕🦺🐶🐩🐶, donuts 🍩 after all that playing, or, maybe ice cream cone… 🍦trees to sit under their 🌲shade or watch monkeys climb 🐒and swing… 📚 books to read 🤓, and music 🎶 to hum , flowers 💐to smell 🌹, and friends to share stories and laugh with 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏼♂️🙍🏽🤷🏾, of course a pond to feed 🦆the ducks 🦤and swans🦢, maybe some hens 🐓and chicks 🐥to feed … and swings and ladders, slides and sand boxes… love Cousin Tess
