I remember that when I graduated we threw a party. All my friends from church came. We had a band and everything. The band played Christen music. I had a cake just like the ones in the tv show Cake Boss.
No party for me, it was get on with the next challenge which was to get to work in a sawmill in Port Alberni for $2.72 per hour. This was in 1966 so things were different then and no one made much of a fuss about anything.
that was a good party Jen! I remember it was a nice day and we were all outside. Lots of people went swimming and I think we even had some music. it was a special time for our family because we weren't sure whether you were going to make it through school or not because of your precarious health. But God was smiling at is that day! Dad
