Think of the flowers which have roots all the way down in the ground. Think of the rain pouring down on the roots making the flowers grow. Think of the sun that gives light to the earth and that helps the flowers grow.

  1. This is really cool, Jen. A small plant in the cloud!

  2. Your painting celebrates the ingredients of life Jen. Water light and soil make it possible for the plant to grow. But who created the plant in the first place? God of course! Dad

  4. I like your artistic technique Jen. You've used such an interesting variety of styles in your paintings lately!
I absolutely love flowers for their colour and variety. God has gone to such a lot of trouble to create exquisite form and incredible colour for us to enjoy. I'm amazed at how a 6 foot sunflower stock shoots up from a tiny seed. Every year our chipmunks 'plant' sunflower seeds on our property and in our gardens. They eat as much as they want from the bird seed mixture that I put out, then they bury more for later. The seeds sprout and we get to enjoy the sunflowers they've planted all summer. In the late summer, when the flowers ripen, we watch the chipmunks sitting atop the tall plants, happily munching away on their crop of sunflower seeds!

I have a garden that keeps me pretty busy and happy! I also find there are a lot of wild flowers here.
