rainbow veins

Veins keep the blood flowing throughout your body. Some people have big veins others have small veins. Doctors put IVs and needles into your veins when you're sick or when they need to take blood.

  1. Wow...Jen, this work of art is very beautiful. You are right about the veins! Some are big and some are fine.I see they kept taking some blood samples from my husband's veins without a problem but yet you have fine vines like a baby's, Jen! I think mine are the medium ones. I also see your picture almost looks like colorful lighting! It reminds me of the movie "Back To The Future" with Michael J. Fox in it for some reasons.

  2. Jen, this painting is really beautiful. It is a perfect depiction of the vascular system. Once again, I really like your choice of colour and values.
Hi Rita, it's good to hear from you. Remember that we're all thinking of you in your difficult time. I hope you'll soon see improvement in your husband's condition.

  3. Yes Jen, you have very small veins and I always remember how difficult and painful it is for them to find them at the hospital when they need to start an IV for you. I hope that never has to happen again. It's the hardest thing for me to watch. I can see the blood flowing through the veins in your painting. It looks like what you might see through a microscope. Rita I hope John is making a good recovery. I have been Jen's Night nurse for the last 3 nights and she has slept really well. Thank you Jen! We miss you Rita! Geoff
