questions and answers

I am allergic to freshly mowed grass Rita. I wish I wasn't.

My sense of smell isn't very good Uncle Nick. I wish it were. I can only smell strong scents.

  1. I'm sorry that you are allergic of new mowed grass, Jen. Thank you for reminding me to enjoy the little things that give us pleasure and also making me think about my childhood.
Jen, when are you going to do more of some short story for us, your readers again? I'm very excited to hear more of a little princess story too!

  2. OMG Jen, are you alergic to freshly mowed grass? And you've been keeping that from me all these years? No wonder you don't want to help me mow the grass! It's one of my favorite smells Jen, along with the smell of freshly turned compost! mmm. I think Indy likes that one too. Dad

  3. I like the smell of spring. It smells like life renewed. The first spring flowers and the first mown grass.

  4. Jen you always remind me that life's blessings are so precious. I must be more aware of the small blessings in it and be thankful.
I hope you have a good day tomorrow.

  5. Mowed grass has several smells like when it is wet or dry. Freshly mowed grass looks so clean and neat. When we were kids at 3385 upper terrace we had to mow the lawn every week no questions asked. I couldn't wait to take over from Blake Housser and got paid a measly 25 cents for about two hours of hard work with an Atco mower. I couldn't wait to pass the job off to Uncle Peter a few years later! The Atco was characterized by a large heavy roller at the back end and it left a lovely line on the grass when it was all done. 6. I remember when you used to use your wheelchair to pull lucy and sally around in their wagon. Around the pool with the fence up of course. Fun was had by all.
