How did you find out about [current places/events]?

I find out about current places or events by the newspaper or someone tells me about them or on YouTube. Honestly I don't read the newspaper. How did you find out about [current places/events]?

  1. Hi Jen I find out first on global news at 630 am when I’m having my morning coffee. Mostly local news that’s not that important but sometimes interesting stuff on their channel. I like Bloomberg news for financial information (which goes global as well). But generally news is usually negative so I don’t worry to much about keeping up with the news anyways!

  2. I am afraid that I am more the type to say 'how did I miss that?' when I read it in the news so I am not the best one to ask. I have one friend who always seems to know what is going on but I don't know how he does it.
For the most part, I am super busy with what I like doing and work so I don't concern myself too much with what they call FOMO or the Fear Of Missing Out.

  3. I have an ap on my phone that keeps me informed. I like to be up to date with the news out of pure curiosity and watch the news every evening on the TV. I like it when they show stories about human kindness the most as we need more positive news. AP

  4. I read the Vancouver Sun in the morning for local news. Then I listen to the CBC News on the radio on the way to work and PBS on the way home. Then I read a bit of the New York Times. Then we watch the PBS News around dinner and maybe the CBC National before bed. Phew! Dad

  5. Hi Jen
I do a quick scan of the international world headlines on my iPhone if I haven’t caught the news driving to my early morning swim.
As for what’s “going on” locally I hear it from friends and neighbours as I tend to get on more with “my” day.
Wishing you a good Jen day!
    Love Cousin Tess

  6. Hi Jennifer! I keep up with world events every day by reading CBC online news and the New York Times and CNN and occasionally the Guardian. I especially like the New York Times because they cover a wide range of topics and ideas though American politics can be very disheartening.

  7. Hi Jen
My husband is an obsessive researcher and follows current, local and international events and trends intently so I am kept informed reliably by him. However, I do keep in touch with cultural events within the Aga Khan sphere of interest. Zen
