The most courageous person I knew was my friend, Ryan. He had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I met him at school. I need more courage for getting out of the house more especially now that my back is hurting.

  1. Jen, you're the most courageous person I know. I'm sorry that your back hurts. I wish there was a way to make it feel better.

  2. Ryan is the most courageous person I knew too Jen.  And you are the second most courageous.  You need to live your life because he couldn't live his.  Each day is a blessing for all of us.  We all need to take a deep breath and remember what a blessing life on this earth is and how fleeing it can be.  Thanks to God.  Dad

  3. Hi Jen. I am touched by your blog. Ryan was indeed courageous and lived his best until he passed. I see you as equally courageous but we all are in different ways. Your parents are as well. They have to get up every morning and be brave in the face of adversity to ensure that you are the healthiest possible and have the best caregivers. Failure is not an option but its certainly possible. There is mo manual for this life. There is our courage to go on and our faith in all things good.
