What do you want to succeed at?

I want to succeed at three things. First I want to succeed at publishing a book. To tell the story which is in my mind. Second I want to succeed at speaking clearly. I worked at it when I was young but I didn't work very hard at it, so I'm hoping that this time I will work harder at it. Third I want to succeed at getting a new chair, so my back might feel better. What do you want to succeed at?

  1. You're an inspiration Jen. You work very hard at your art, writing, and speech.
I love to work, it's in my blood! I'm happy when I'm working. I like to achieve. I don't mind how hard my work is, I just love the sense of a job well done.
I hope you find a sense of happiness in your achievements too. You should be really proud of your blog, your art and writing. You've gathered a group of readers together who like to interact with you and with each other. You can be very proud of that. I look forward to reading your book when it's published.

  2. HI Jen, those are great goals. Publishing a book is no easy feat. Sam is a writer in her spare time, and it takes a lot of hard work, and often the writer can hit "writer's block". So, I wish you good luck with the book and i look forward to reading it. To your final goal, just tell your Dad to fork over a new chair as an early present, because you deserve the best. For me, I want to succeed at having a nice family. I also want to get better on the squash court. I'm not getting any younger so i need to make it count over the next few years! Eddie

  3. Great goals Jen! I want to succeed at simplifying my life and focusing on things that are important to me such as spending time with you. As you go through life your goals change. When you are young you want to accomplish things. When you are old like I am you want to succeed at doing things that give you pleasure. Dad

  4. This is on of your most interesting queries, Jen. The newer better chair should be no problem. Learning how to speak and communicate better has to come from you and what a worthy goal that is. You have so much to talk about, so much inside you, I look forward to that a lot and with all the new technology out there maybe that will help somewhat too. As for me I want to succeed at writing a book too which is exactly what I am doing now. It is a history of our family, 6 generations going back to 1839 in Bremen, Germany. I hope to share it with you sometime this year. UN
