I don't remember moving to a new house or how I felt. I know my family must have moved but I don't remember it. I know our move to our current house must have been important but I don't remember it. Have you ever moved?
Moving is both exciting and strange. We've lived in 3 houses 46 years. We are always excited to move to the new home, but then when we move in we kind of feel like we're living in someone else's house, for quite a long time! Though when we moved into this house 6 years ago we both said it felt like home within a couple of weeks. Some folks like to move a lot. They want a change. Not me! Barbara
I have moved many times in my life, three times with my parents, three or four times following siblings and a few times on my own here in Canada. I don't like moving around at all! I hope someday I will have a house and will live there for the rest of my life. In my opinion, you are very lucky to live in a nice home and no need to move anywhere else, Jen.
In the first 12 years of marriage your mom and I moved 6 times! Now we have been in the same house for more than 20 years. This is the only home we have every owned and we don't plan to move again (except maybe to Victoria!). Dad
Donna and I have moved 3 times since marriage. Our first 2 homes were in North Van and then moved out here. Honestly I would like to consider moving but we have so much stuff and I just dont have the energy. I guess we really dont want to yet either. Maybe one day when Oliviaa has moved out.
My most memorable move was when I was 12 years old. We moved from our small home into a much bigger home with a pool and a hot tub. Since Monica and Sindy were living with us, we really loved the bigger space and having the big back yard to play in. I miss that home a lot! Eddie
