This is fun Jen. I like it. Kind of like wool, or very funky spaghetti! Ha ha! I used to knit a lot but now I prefer to sew and embroider. My sister knits beautifully. Our generation grew up learning all the needle arts. I don't think many 16 year olds today can sew a dress, knit a sweater, embroider a pillowcase, or crochet a scarf. We didn't have electronic devices to fill our Canadian winter evenings, so we did needle crafts. I always liked to make things as gifts too. I guess it will be a lost art before long. Maybe it's not for everybody but I've always enjoyed creating things, working with my hands. It's very relaxing. Barbara
I always wanted to sew a Jen. I tried knitting once but wasn't very good at it. I am sure I could have mastered it if I tried harder. But boys weren't supposed to sew and knit when I was growing up. So instead I learned to make things out of wood. I used to enjoy putting together models and building forts with my friends. I like your painting Jen because it reminds me of my hair. Dad
I love to knit as well and crochet and needle point and sew. It it very satisfying to create something useful. Your dads comment about your hair is funny😂
I used to do some crochet work done, I made some simple table top covers but never tried to make anything complicated like a sweater or socks. I got pretty lazy these days and have never created anything interesting, Jen.
