I would like to be queen of a whole country. I could do so much good for the people but my good intentions would probably go wrong. I would like to wear long dresses. I like having my picture taken as well. I'm not sure if I would like all the attention though. Would you like to be king or queen of a county?
Yes, you could be a good queen, Jen. No, I wouldn't like to be a president of Indonesia. I don't think I know where to begin and what to do. I probably would be too afraid to lead a big mass,anyway. I just pray for them from the distance.
ReplyDeleteI think you are a Queen already, Jen. Not sure i would like to be a King; like you, i wouldn't like all of the attention. I would rather be a knight in shining armour. I always loved reading stories about the "knights of the round table". Although these men didn't have very long or fun lives, i believe it was honorable to be in their position, fighting for their comrades and kingdoms of people.

I cant think of a better person to be a queen Jen. For me? I might like all the cool stuff that I would get like the wildest motorcycle and the most expensive computers and clothes. But that is also the reason that I shouldnt be King because that is not what it is all about. There is that great expressuin 'Be careful of what you wish for'. I know who I am and that needs to be enough.
ReplyDeleteJudging by the way you rule over our household Jen, I think you would be a very fair and benevolent Queen. Having been one of your subjects for over 27 years, I know that you can be a bit demanding. But who would be your heir apparent? Would that be Fluffy or Mum? I can't imagine it would be me because I am not a worthy subject. But were I to succeed you, I would do my best to follow in your footsteps and rule over Mum and Indy in a fair and benevolent fashion. Your loyal subject, Dad
ReplyDeleteNot a king because he only has superficial powers. But a prime minister, yes, but only for a short while. I would fix all our messes and get things back on track and then if I did a good job maybe my subjects would treat me like a king, otherwise, off with my head! UN
