What advice do you wish you had listened to from your parents?
My mom said I want you to get out more. I wish I had listened to her before my back hurt. What advice do you wish you had listened to from your parents?
Hi Jen I'm so sorry you have back pain. I hope you can get some relief with your medication. Chronic pain is difficult. My mom had a few good pieces of advice. One was 'the sun will rise tomorrow, and time will make you feel better, things will get back to normal'. It's much like the old saying 'this too shall pass', She'd tell me that when I was troubled about something - and she was right. Barbara
there are so many things it's hard to count! for one i could have eaten eaten healthier. I could have practiced spanish more with my mom. i could have been a bit more kind as a young teenager. the list goes on and on and on.
By the way Jen, Did you enjoy having Murphy stay with you a couple weekends ago? Would you ever like her to stay again?
I can't think of too much advice that my parents gave me that I didn't follow Jen. That's because it was always good advice. One piece of advice I remember my father gave me was that if you wanted to know what a girl was going to be like later in life, you should meet her mother. Well after I met your grandmother I realize that your mom would be an amazing mother and wife, and not a bad cook either! Dad
There are too many to write them down, Jen. Here are some of my advice for me 1. Be more confident, walk away from people who are not good for me. 2.Don't be too emotional, don't cry so much. 3. Don't be afraid to ask, don't assume. 4. Don't worry so much to what other people think of me. 5. Be more patient. And of course most of my grief come from all of those!
