what I did today #1
I have a electric bed and my mom leveled the bed at 8:20 this mourning and woke up my computer and got my speaker going. I woke up shortly after that. I have a bluetooth speaker. Before she turned me on my side to start physio she turns my story on my computer and brings the speaker over to my bed so I can hear it. When i'm on my side my mom gives me a mouth suction and gives me 9 THC drops because my back has been hurting. After she gives me the drops she writes it down in the nurses notes and then she starts physio. I need physio because it loosens the secretions in my lungs. My mom reads during physio. We go through a lot of books. After physio my mom goes to exercise and Alieshia my caregiver gets me up and takes me to the bathroom. After i'm up I write in my story. After I write in my story I keep listening to my story on my computer and play on facebook. I have to wait for mom to come home because one of my sisters has my mom's car for the summer. I miss my car. Alieshia and I went to Michael's at 1 to get some plastic coated wire for my painting because i'm going to enter it in an art show. We ended up staying for two hours. It was so fun looking at all the art supplies and the plastic coated wire was free! I bought a dolphin night light that you can paint and some watercolor paper for my watercolor pencils and then we went home. What did you do today?

Wow...Jen, I forgot how a big of a deal it is for you to getting up in the morning. It is something that I take for a granted. I'm glad that you have included this ordeal in your blog, so people will remember how unique your situation is. As my activity for today was very simple got up around 9,checked on my email, had breakfast, read a little bit, prepared lunch/supper for John, went back to bed for my nap for tonight shift and got ready for work!
ReplyDeleteYou've had a busy day Jen! You have such wonderful parents and caregivers who help you to stay healthy and be active. It must be very difficult to go through so much each day. I'd say you must be a very patient person. I hope it helps a little to know you have the support of all of your friends.
ReplyDeleteMichaels is a very cool place -right? I love it and spend a lot of time there, like you. Your art project sounds intriguing!

Wow, Jen, what an awesome summary of your day! And perfectly written. I am so proud of you! You should let your readers know that that is only half your day. Today you should write about the afternoon and evening routine which is just as involved. Otherwise they might think I don't do anything! It is a good idea to keep a diary like you have started Jen. Yesterday I went to work. I don't like my new office because it doesn't have any windows. So I try to leave early and come home and work in the garden which is my main job. Don't you think the garden looks beautiful at this time of year? After dinner I usually stretch and massage you. Then I have a hot tub and go to bed. Dad
