How did you learn that your least favorite food was your least favorite food?

I don't know. I guess by tasting it. My least favorite food in recent memory is Traditional balsamic vinegar. I think it tastes like medicine. How did you learn that your least favorite food was your least favorite food?

  1. When my mother told me it was liver, that was enough. You add bacon, onions, ketchup, or anything else but its still liver. Its just ruining whatever you put with it.
We have a new puppy Jen. I will bring him over soon.

  2. i despise onions. more than anyone could imagine. Which sucks, because onions are in everything. And doesn't matter what type. Fried, sweet, caramilized, raw, green onions, chives, all forms are absolutely brutal and destroy a meal for me. However, this only occurs for me when the onion flavour is poignant, or strong. That's when the meal sucks. But in a spaghetti bolognese sauce? Love them. Soups? Love them. But garnishing a nice green salad with raw red onions? See you later and maybe i won't come back :) hahahaha

I've disliked onions since as long as i can remember. My mum said it was a distaste since i was a baby

  3. The only thing I don't like is mustard. Owen, I love liver. And Eddie, nothing beats liver and onions! Yes, I think you find out about the foods you don't like by tasting them. But I think not liking them in the first place must be something genetic or ingrained. In other words, you are born with the dislike. I don't know why else I don't like mustard. Dad

  4. Hi Jen,
Love when I know the answer to a question … remember tests at school and having no recollection of even studying a certain aspect of something and having to write an essay on it!!
Well, canned peas came immediately to mind, with a close second (as they were frequently served together) roast beef!
The first was green and mushy (most likely over boiled in the simple heating up process) …. Roast beef , sliced, was the texture. Chew chew chew shoe leather. Even the ‘rare’was texture of shoe leather.

Both, not necessarily together, would turned into a ball inside my mouth, I would then gently cough into my napkin, secretly spitting the balled up food into my napkin, Lowering the napkin close to my right knee under the table and drop the contents onto the kitchen floor. Luck was to be determined be it the dashound or the golden lab that got to the yummy trea first!
Never was I “caught.” Maybe just ignored!

As an adult I enjoy an occasional rare roast beef, a small helping.
    Never again canned peas!
All other foods that are green are my favorite of all foods!

    What’s for dinner ?

    Love Cousin Tess
