I say thank you everyday Jen. Because I am out and about the opportunity is always there to be polite to others and in turn they are polite to you. But I do see a decline in this one simple word that is so easy to say yet probably not enough. I love your posts so thank you!!!!!! Love AP
Good morning Jen, I think we might be quite similar in this shared human offering of both giving and receiving. Like you, I say thank you every day. Hopefully many times a day, even to my Kitty I give her my thanks. There is something special that happens when saying thank you to another. In their taking in my thanks I feel their gratitude and that fills me up with gratitude. Gratitude is a really big heart full of deep love. Very special. We are all so connected! I have just paid my Hydro bill and was thinking how fortunate we are to have hydro, let alone hydro that is so there for us, whenever we need it. Push a button, flick a switch, even clapping our hands can turn on a lite. Heck, then there is Alexa and Siri !! (I am not there yet!) And when the hydro is “down,” thinking of all the men and women, that go out into the situation and conditions to attend and fix the situation. Missing time with their families, their sleeping or meal time. The conditions under which they are working be it storms or severe cold , flooding rains, fires…I am thankful for the country in which we live. For my friends, my family… as I write to you my cat is so happy to be watching a Mouse video made especially for Kitties. She loves it, gets all excited, prowls around the laptop looking for where the mice ran off screen (not that she has yet figured out it is a screen!)… hydro has me recharge the laptop so she can be excited and engaged in life! Thank you, Jen, for sharing your wisdom and insights, your creativity and inspiring questions . All which has me first off, be connected with you! Which has me think of your family. Which, as you know, always warms my heart when I think of your Dad, as we grew up together like sister and brother, a bond that will never be broken. Very precious are our families. Okay, gotta run. Bridgette, the cat, has walked all over the computer keys and something is thumping a big noise in the machine and the screen has gone wacky!!! Wishing you a good day. We have snow here this morning and a full moon still hovering…. More for which I am thankful!! So beautiful looking outside, so cosy inside! Love Cousin Tess
i'm glad to hear you say thank you every day, Jen. It's very important to say these words. My mum said thank you to me on sunday - i invited her to stay at my house for the weekend to hang out and she enjoyed her stay. And equally so, i enjoyed her staying with me, and thanked her from coming.
Today I would like to say thank you Jen for sharing your lovely artwork and thoughts and inspiring us all to participate in your thought provoking blogs. A great way of creating an atmosphere of friendship and love. Zen
