I think we are all passionate about different things. I am passionate about my music. I love writing songs with the help of my music therapist, Meg. I am also passionate about my art. I love creating things and hear what people think of them. I'm also passionate about writing stories. I love seeing where the story will go. What is your current passion project?
That's great that you have so many passions Jen! I am passionate about my garden and especially the grass which has to be absolutely perfect. I like to think I am passionate about my health and fitness, but that is forced because I would much rather take a pill if one were available. Right now I am passionate about getting a sailboat in Mexico. But most of all I am passionate about you, Jen, giving you the best quality of life possible! Love, Dad
ReplyDeleteHappy Boxing Day Jen! Hope you had a Merry Christmas yesterday… some carols on the music machine, or better yet, family singing the carols. I seem to remember your Dad taking piano lessons; and I think you might have a piano. Maybe your Mum plays the piano…nothing like hearing and feeling live music!
ReplyDeleteLike you, so many passions. Creativity is the magic of Life for me.
This was the second day my cat Bridgette asked me to play “the Water Game.” My words, she needs no words to communicate with me. At her stainless steel water dish, from which she drinks regularly , there are occasions she sees her reflection off the bottom of the bowl. Like a mirror, the bottom is flat, and there is this cat staring at her! She does the cat thing by looking away, giving “the other cat” time to check her out. Then, ideally, the “other cat” looks away so Bridgette can check her out. But as you know, a mirror doesn’t work that way! After a few more attempts, Bridgette moves to the matter at paw which is the water.
My cue to use a spoon to stir, make bubbles, fill the spoon and dribble water into the bowl like a waterfall. She likes to paw the spoon, tries to catch the dribbles, drink from the spoon, have the spoon in the water flip upside down and right side up. Oh oh! The cat’s face has reappeared in the bowl! All water games stops as Bridgette tries again to teach the cat how to look, but not stare!
You have figured out my passion of the moment… I love getting into the world of each animal, and hear, try to understand what they are wanting me to know. I have to let go of being a Human Being and try to become Feline.
Twenty minute has done in this 18 year old lady cat! Now cat napping on her hot water bottle, I am tucked in beside her about to carry on reading my book … yes, another passion. I love to read.
As you can see, I love to read your writings, see your art, and reflect on your thoughts and questions. Like getting into the animal’s world, I love getting into the worlds of people. Everyone is a teacher to me! For which I am very grateful. So many many wise people in this world!
Wishing you a lovely day, and thanks again Jen, for all you share and teach me!
Love Cousin Tess
